This system gives the operator incredibly widespread and very flexible security networks.
Additional security As well as continuous monitoring, WaveServe is able to actively alert the user of any unscheduled or untoward events in the monitored area by contacting the operator s PC and displaying still images on the screen.
Retro security With WaveServe, the operator has the option of archiving events for later verification. Events which do not need to be viewed at the time of recording can be stored for deferred examination.
Simple to set up The only requirements, in addition to the WaveServe unit and its cameras, are a portable computer, a modem and a power connection. There's no need for specialized PC hardware.
WaveServe, the tiny guardian. This small stand-alone unit can be connected to up to four cameras. If can be positioned anywhere, even in the most difficult to access areas. The system transmits Wavelet-compressed images whichare decoded by special software and displayed in still format on the PC screen or stored to hard disc for deferred examination. The operator, who can be thousands of kilometers away, completely controls the remote system and the cameras attached to it.
With the optional WaveServe hard drive, images can be continuously stored at the monitored site and reviewed remotely at l later time using various search criteria. This facility could be valuable, for example, in banks when there is a time laps between a transactions and a query.
